Meet The Chef
After earnning her degree from Virginia Tech in Foods and Nutrition, Chef Pamela's culinary journey began in 1988 in Boston as a custom caterer. Several years later her family moved to Baltimore where she continued her custom catering business and began servicing corporate clients. In 2002 her family made a second move to the warmer climate of North Carolina. There she aquired her certification as a personal chef. After her first six months as a personal chef she decided to incorporate her catering and culinary instruction with her personal chef skills. The Thyme Savor is the result of Chef Pamela's hard work and dedication to her passion, food.

"It's not just about serving people food, it's about getting to know my clients and what types of food they really enjoy and make them feel good. Food preparation is a process that should be enjoyed as a social event either with family and or friends. With our busy lives people have forgotten how intimate preparing, cooking and eating a meal together can be, we need to take the time to savor the moment, savor the food!

Chef Pamela is also a recipe developer and educator of fresh herbs for Shenandoah Growers, Kateri's Fresh Herbs: found locally and nationally in grocery stores and specialty markets.

Her teaching experience has been with corporate clients such as North Carolina State University, Hutchison Law Firm, and Genworth Mortgage. She also teaches classes at Wake Tech Community College as well as private residental one-on-one classes with couples and groups.
